The Cecchetti Victoria Gala is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for all participants. To protect privacy and wellbeing, mobile phone use is restricted during Gala-related activities.
Key Guidelines:
Mobile phone use is not permitted in dressing rooms or bathrooms
Photography and videography are strictly prohibited backstage, including dressing rooms and side-stage areas
Phones must be switched off and stored during rehearsals
Any photos or videos may only be taken with consent from all individuals involved
Media must not be shared without appropriate parental consent
All participants are expected to follow these guidelines to ensure a safe and respectful environment.

Cecchetti Ballet Australia has a Child Safety Policy outlining acceptable and unacceptable behaviours.

The 2026 Cecchetti Victoria Gala have developed a Child Safety Code of Conduct specific to event requirements. It applies to all adults involved in the event, including staff, volunteers, teachers, and service providers.
Cecchetti Ballet Australia’s Photography, Filming and Recording Policy outlines how student images are collected, used, and protected.
Images may be taken during Gala-related activities and used for:
Internal communications (e.g. newsletters and community platforms)
Public platforms (e.g. website, social media, and promotional materials)
Parental consent is required for the use of student images and is obtained via the Image Release Form (see below). Consent can be withdrawn at any time; however, previously published images may not be removable.
Cecchetti Victorian Gala is committed to safeguarding student privacy and securely storing all media in accordance with relevant privacy and child safety standards.
Cecchetti Victoria Gala requires all participants to complete an Image Release Form prior to participation in the Gala.
This form provides consent for photographs, video, and audio recordings of participants to be used in accordance with CBA’s Photography, Filming and Recording Policy. Media may be used for:
Internal communications (e.g. newsletters and community platforms)
Promotional purposes (e.g. website, social media, and marketing materials)
Consent is valid for the current calendar year and may be withdrawn at any time by contacting CBA. Please note that previously published images may not be removable.

Child Safety
A dedicated Child Safety Officer is appointed for all Gala activities. All staff, volunteers, and backstage personnel comply with child safety policies and laws and hold relevant clearances.
Injury Prevention & First Aid
Qualified first aid personnel will be on site during rehearsals and performances
All studios are required to provide medical and emergency contact information for students
Rehearsals include structured warm-up and cool-down periods to support safe participation
Teachers and studio staff remain responsible for the supervision and wellbeing of their students at all times
Supervision
Students are supervised by their studio teachers throughout the event.
